As you'll see below, I've been struggling with mixing true turquoise and teal in my dining room (because it is so darn difficult to find placemats that match the fabric and paint!) Here, Amy does it so beautifully:
This is probably the most unique and amazing thing I've ever seen in interior design. I would never think to put a settee along the line of the stairs, never mind custom carving it to match the form (which is what I assume she did)... This is the photo that made her a design god in my mind:

FFinally, here is the photo I promised. Of course it is no where near finished, and once I got a coat of paint up I left it alone and never went back, so who knows when I'll get to it. Probably before a dinner party I am hosting in October!
