Gorgeous Holiday Wreaths

Tuesday, November 29, 2011

So, people will make wreaths out of just about anything these days.  Do you know what I'm talking about? If you are addicted to Pinterest like I am, then you do.  Maybe that has always been the case but we just couldn't as easily see what everyone around the world was creating.  I prefer the traditional full and fruity wreath, like in the first image.  And while there are some real doozies out there (socks? old rags?), I must admit that there are some incredibly creative and beautiful ones out there, too.  Here are some of my favorite traditional and creative ones:

I have pinned quite a few of these too. I do agree that the traditional ones are the prettiest. There are so many amazing wreaths out there!

Happy Pinning!

I just took my fall wreath down, time for my Christmas wreath to make a debut this weekend! I love the greenery wreath with the starfish and the monogram letter boxwood wreath!

That second wreath caught my eye, with the feathers and the granny smith apples. Thanks for all the ideas~I might have to get my wreath up today.

Ok now I am inspired to hang my wreaths on the front door!

Great inspiration, Stacy. I'm still drawn to a more traditional style, with lots of greenery and a gorgeous bow.
Have a lovely day,

I too have my eye open for lovely wreaths on Pinterest and have pinned quite a few of these as well. Shall we guess that the first two are your favorites?

Oh goodness me, I love them all, specially the one with the feathers, sooo elegant, as I'm not rustic myself, but here they are for all tastes! Thanks for sharing, I will check to make a couple for my kitchen. FABBY

I was thinking a post about wreaths would be nice but you have topped all the ideas I had - what a beautiful post!!! I'm off to pin several. I hate our front door on our house here - it can't accommodate a wreath and I really miss having one to welcome guests!

Hi Stacy! Love all of the inspiration, I had to pin a few myself!!! I just love this time of year!! I have the Ballard pine initial wreath, I got it years ago and gave each of my kids one for their door. We have to have the infamous "P" up somewhere at Christmas too!

Wow, Stacy - what a great collection! So much inspiration, but where to start. I think the one that really caught my eye was the prettyhandgirl.com image. It's gorgeous!

Stacy,
Just bookmarked this post under "Christmas" I am very picky about what I bookmark for this folder and this one is a keeper. I stopped on that pheasant feather green apple wreathe and could not look away!! stunning examples. M.

I love them all! One for each door, maybe? ;) The cork wreaths are definitely lots of fun!
