Pastels: Pink, Purple, and Tangerine for Spring

I love tangerine as the new color, but I'm really surprised at myself for liking all of the pastel rooms that are being seen lately.  I would have said no pastels for me, ever, but I actually like quite a few of these.  I know everyone has seen the popular orange rooms by now, but I wanted to include a few of my favorites because to me they seem to go along with the other spring colors:

White, beige, and tan walls - anything but boring

I'm so sorry, I don't have a 50 Favorites for you today...but I'll be back with that next week, I promise. I'm also sorry about the formatting of this post...I'm doing it on my iPad, which is not ideal, and a lot of photos are overlapping the sidebar. Soooo frustrating!!


So, I've been thinking about painting my whole first floor white, because I love the way my kitchen looks since I did that, and I love white rooms in general.  But to tell you the truth, I'm a little scared of all white. So I started looking at "almost white" rooms.  I love how colorful a room can still be with white, beige, or otherwise neutral walls. I also love the monochromatic look shown in a lot of these, and keep going back and forth as to which look I like better:
