First I wanted to show you guys a little progress in my dining room. Our black and white chairs got completely sun faded into beigy-gray and white and needed to be replaced. I decided to go for a pop of bright green, and you’ll notice I also changed the light:
The dog has already stained the new rug. Some of you didn’t like it because you thought it was too casual. I see your point, but I was going for a family friendly mix of materials. Anyway, it’s not as stain resistant as I had hoped. I may just end up with no rug in there because it’s where the dog insists on going.
I also ordered a new sofa for my office, also in green. I have showed you a lot of chartreuse sofas recently because I knew I was going to buy one:
The sofa is AWESOME and I couldn’t love it more. It was under $800, is the most comfortable thing ever, and the color (Lizzy Kiwi) is exactly what I wanted. Here it is:
Lastly, I changed the curtains int he kitchen. There are two panels on each side for fullness. The rod is from Ballard Designs, and the curtains are here:
Ok, onto the real post. This is a dream home in Utah that I recently saw in Elle Decor. I love it for the clean neutral color palette and minimalist approach. Enjoy!
