I told you I was doing landscaping last weekend for mothers day, right? My kids pitched in and we accomplished this.
The empty pots are placeholders for plants that were out of stock:
It is getting real that Bobby is graduating next month. The senior parents all put these signs up:
Ugh. That crabgrass. The yard work never ever ever ends. But that is sprayed and it is dying and hopefully I’ll be planting new grass soon.
The builder didn’t do a walk, so we started this one – we laid almost all of the stones, but have two to cut to make the curves happen at the top and bottom. The next step is to get grass back in there, filling between the stones. I love the cobblestone look for this house – very casual and beachy:
We had a few extra stones so we made a little walkway through the gate to the water. Those will also get grass between them:
My kids father helped them buy this tree for me for mother’s day, and he came over and planted it with them. We had done that in the old house, and I was so sad to leave it when we moved, so I thought this was just the sweetest thing ever:
So it was an awesome day full of family and love and learning that even when things change, there can still be lots of love and happiness.
Ok, onto the rooms! Enjoy these from architect Alisberg Parker (here).
